In today’s modern life, the main features of which are busyness and reduced care for one’s own body, for many people this manifests itself as a large loss of teeth, so the patient must be provided with some kind of prosthetic work, mostly mobile
such as total acrylic denture, partial metal skeletonized acrylic denture, partial acrylic denture, etc. Yes
in order for the therapy to be as long-lasting as possible, it is important to inform patients about the problems faced by those who have mobile prostheses, i.e. the so-called dental prostheses. When making such substitutes
it is important to process all phases according to the rules in order for the prosthesis to be
functional and made the patient’s life easier and returned it to normal
chewing function. All patients who have mobile prostheses before
or later they meet with some kind of repairs of those same prostheses.
Repairs can sometimes be expected and justified, for example, if the expected shelf life of at least 5 years has passed
because then the so-called \u02ddmaterial fatigue\u02dd, or if there were changes in the oral cavity that occurred naturally or after some
interventions. Repairs can be unexpected and frequent
various reasons such as, for example, non-compliance with the protocol in
laboratory or doctor’s office, improper use of dental prosthesis,
neglecting the hygiene of the oral cavity and dentures, not going to the dentist
on the controls, if the aesthetics are prioritized over the relationship
according to function, etc. Patients feel ashamed if their prosthesis maybe
cracks, and going to the dentist is not pleasant for them, and immediately
creates discomfort. The worst solution for breaking the prosthesis can
be self-repair at home. Such a solution can only end
with a negative result. Sometimes patients also want to solve the problem <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

it is better to leave everything to the experts so that they do not appear
additional problem. There are various cracks or breaks in mobile replacements, which we will show in pictures and explain what

Many patients often come because their teeth persistently crack or fall out of their dentures. Most often, it is a question of the prosthesis of one jaw, au
the other has either a fixed bridge or natural teeth. Cracking or shedding
teeth can also happen if one jaw is done first
on an existing bite that is not good and then very quickly another one. Because
is very important, if possible and if the bite problem is known,
to work both jaws at the same time. Denture teeth crack if it is

The best solution is to grind the tooth in the prosthesis if the amount of material allows it, and if not, then grind the tooth in the opposite jaw which
bites strongly on\/touches, hits the problem tooth in the denture. Under no circumstances should the patient repair his prosthesis himself
because it could greatly worsen and complicate the situation for the dentist
and a technician. It is very important that the dentist checks the relationship of the teeth
in the bite and the movement of the patient’s jaw when speaking,
bites food, chews and performs other natural jaw movements
if necessary, he cleans and adapts his bite on the other teeth as well.
Such a problem can appear on all types of mobile prostheses, but it most often occurs in the case of mixed dentition in the mouth
in which we can find mobile prosthetics, natural teeth and\/or
fixed prosthetics. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The second most common problem with dentures is breakage, especially of total acrylic dentures. Unfortunately, this happens to various people
reasons. In most cases, the fracture is caused by gingival atrophy

In that case, apart from the repair of the broken prosthesis and re-implantation
gluing, we have to rest the prosthesis again, i.e. cover it from the inside that rests on the gingiva, with a new layer of acrylate in order to recreate the valve effect that
is the primary stabilizing retention of the prosthesis. Sometimes patients
they don’t listen to the dentist’s instructions, so they eat very hard food and don’t
they follow certain rules when wearing it, so it breaks and you
it is necessary to rejoin by pouring the same acrylate into
crack. It is very important to listen to dentists when they explain

In the case of partial metal skeleton prostheses with acrylate extension, popularly known as wironite or
cast prostheses and vinyl prostheses, the most common is the repair of metal hooks, which serve as the primary support for this type of prostheses
retention. The hooks are metal one-piece cast or printed
together with the rest of the metal skeleton. Most often, they break due to prolonged wearing of the prosthesis and fatigue of the material, and then we are faced with
with the problem that we cannot make a new tick so strongly, safely and
long-term connection with the rest of the metal base, because any heat treatment would burn the acrylate part of the prosthesis, so it would be irreversible
destroyed. In that case, it is best to bend the orthodontic wire
0.7 to 0.8 mm thick in the shape of a hook and fix it with the rest
dentures in the acrylate part of partial dentures. It is also common
the problem in the case of snaps is that some patients try the so-called bend the hook with combing pliers and thus strengthen it

As already mentioned, with dental prostheses it is the most important
functionality. It is important for the patient that it does not fall out while eating or
talks to you that it has a firm and unquestionable bed on the gingiva. This can sometimes be a problem if the previous stages were not done that way
as it should, or if due to some health problems
pulls the gums because it is no longer the same situation as it is
prosthesis made. Denture repairs generally mean yes
a new one will soon be needed because the weakened part will be there forever
the weakest link in prosthetic work, so repairs are possible
only prolong the new shooting in the future. If the prosthesis is made in accordance with the waist and if the expected period has passed
durability of 4 to 5 years, repairs can be longer.
It is also necessary to properly clean and maintain them, it is recommended
do not sleep with mobile prostheses so that the unwanted happens
falling out of the socket, but keeping them at night in water in which a tablet for cleaning dental prostheses has been dissolved. What is safest
